Christopher Sylvain is an attorney at Polson Intellectual Property Law—an IP specialty firm in Colorado. Chris’s practice encompasses a broad range of IP services, including utility and design patent preparation and prosecution, trademark and trade dress registration, and copyright protection, with a focus on developing effective IP strategies, both domestic and international, for clients across a wide variety of industries and technologies. In addition to IP procurement, management, and strategy, Chris also represents clients in USPTO trademark opposition/cancellation and WIPO UDRP proceedings, assesses and counsels on IP infringement, validity, and clearance matters, and provides subject matter expertise in support of litigation. He is well-versed in the intersection of design patent, product configuration trade dress, and design copyright. He is active in the professional community, previously serving as a board member of the Colorado IP American Inn of Court, and currently on INTA’s Designs Committee.
